Warren Peace.

My belief is that war and peace need to coexist in order to satisfy the order in life. However, I strongly discourage how war is taken out of order. War used to be about fighting for people. Now it's fighting for resources. We fight for the wrong reasons and we make enemies. We teach children to abide by a government who thinks they know what's right. When they know only of the greatest profit.

You know, I have no problem with war unless it's for the wrong reasons. If we go back to the constitutional days, I would say, yeah! War was a good thing. Now, it's like a game. I for one don't think that this country should participate. Although, sometimes necessary. I think we should work on fixing ourselves. People in this country know people in other countries that have died. We shouldn't try to fix the unfix-able, like Iraq. We can only control the problem, by educating with awareness of what the problem is. We can't fix, what we don't know.

All I know about the Vietnam war, is that innocent people died, who didn't need to.

  1. Jeanine,

Thank you for you thoughtful response. It looks like you many have given this question some thought before. We'll be learning about the Vietnam War on Monday.
